hi, how can you draw a 3D screw with a real thread? I also need it to calculate the load capacity of the thread
When I draw the thread I waste a lot of time to perform the helicoid at each drawing and when I have to carry out load tests on the thread, the results of the load test are always wrong because the inventor program does not read the helical thread well. What can I do?

Use google to find actual dimensions of thread you require. Then use the tools in your cad software to model this thread. Work out the forces and loading's the thread is working under and do the calculations
