How can one store step-files (or any other 3d-file-type) on a website?
I got this idea to store files on my own website so people can download them from there, just like we do here on grabcad. Does anybody know how to do so? When I try, I get an error message.

I got wordpress. I got that plug-in to load a 3D-object as obj, but no step. Yes, I would like to see that on your website.
For some reason, by clicking the linked .step image file loads/saves as text, no clue why, it worked before. You need to right/click and save the link as .step. But when linked to a Solidworks file it works well. Anyway, check out the temporary link below to get a better idea.
