how do I create a sketch/spline or points from an XYZ axis cooridinate list on a spreadsheet
I need to create a disk/follower type cam profile all I have is an excel spread sheet that has the x y z coordinates. i hope there is a way i can import that data to create a spline or points in a sketch. The spreadsheet I have has over 2600 data points. imputing all the x y z values manually would be a nightmare

Save Excel data as .txt and import into SolidWorks
Beautiful worked perfectly. Thank you you saved me a ton of work! Just want to make an adder for others is save the excel file as a comma delimited version of **.txt file not unicode or something else. Make sure the text file is not open when you import the data into solidworks or you get an error message.
