How do i emboss in the surface of a torus in inventor? Is this even possible?
I'm trying to emboss a text on the surface of a torus. It seems impossible. Is this possible with inventor 2013? if not, then which software is capable of that?

and probably in your program, it is possible
The same happens with other geometries of the text above
The procedure I followed to solve the problem was as below...(Just if any one is interested)
1. Offset surface
2. Extrude the text up to surface from a plane above surface.
3. Cut the above portion using Split-->Trim Solid Command.
