How do I put a tread on a tire

I need to model an automoblox C9-s tire. I have attached the tire as of my last attempt, and the pictures of the car and tread pattern.

you could wrap to face
or decal a tire pic
or use revolve
the ways are endless. A simple search on the internet reveals a lot.
