How do i render a solidworks assembly?

4 Answer

Open the assembly file in photview360 which is a rendering software that comes with SW. Set up which background you want to use from the Environment section, then use the setup to adjust the position of the assy in the background (which will change the light effect and the closeness of the assy).
You can add or change materials for each part in the assy also from the Appearances section. After you have the model looking like you want start the "Final Render button".
Thats it in a nut-shell.

Have fun!!!!

if youre working on 2011 activate the photoview addin and after configuring press the render button

Thank you guys very much, it worked out amazingly!!!
