How do I stop my hot bed from getting hot...

I just built a he3d ei3 tri color 3d printer and when I plugged it in the bed went past 100°c... i turned it down but it does not respond. I set up a print with a specific temp and it ignored it. It shows the temp on the screen.. please help... it melted the carage for the bed plate... not sure how much .y machine can handle this extremely high temperature. Its impossible to level the bed because of this... help
