How one can decide the thickness of sheet metal for an enclouser?

Suppose I want to design a vending machine that needs to carry 100kg of object weight inside it. What factor are necessary to decide the thickness of its sheet metal enclosure and what analysis must be done on that sheet metal?

I would imagine that 16-gauge is more than adequate for the enclosure. The rest is a matter of bracing and loading/supports across the shell.
