How to change decals background in SOLIDWORKS
On my drill, i want to change background appearance to the texture appearance in SOLIDWORKS.
How I can do that ?

After you add the decal, scroll down to "Mask Image" and choose one of the 4 options there...
The 1st means that the image will be added as it is.
The 2nd allows you to attach another "Mask File" that's in Black & White (Black hides, White shows).
The 3rd lets you choose one or more colours that'll be masked by SolidWorks (gives mediocre results).
The 4th uses the alpha channel of the decal itself (if it has).

Above the model tree, click the "Display Manager tab" (colored ball)
Click the little black arrow on "Scene" to open the flyout .
Right click on the "Background (Environment) and select "Edit Scene"
Under background dropdown, select "Image"
Then browse to the image you want and adjust any settings in this menu to make it look how you want.
