The easiest thing to do is put the dimension(s) on a layer.
I don't usually do this, but when you have a mix of driven, and driving dimensions showing in gray and black, it is a quick and easy way to make them all appear the same.
Check out the help menu about layers. There is a layer toolbar you can enable, and it is really easy after doing so.
