How to create a perpendicular thread hole on the slider?

I'm a beginner and using Inventor. I'm trying to create thread holes on the slide to connect to the pole. Whenever I create the holes, they get created on an angle but I want them to be straight so that they can fit into the poles smoothly.

I have attached a screenshot to explain what happened.

I'm using Inventor 2015

you can set point on side , then by choosing hole feature, and select tapped hole. then you can set the size of the threaded hole
