How to design a shaft and bearing assembly for a design shown
I have been working on a design where a rotating part could be easily installed and removed. To complicate things, my shaft has a small slot which needs to align with a groove on the housing shown in the figure. I was wondering if its possible to find bearings/bushings that have a slot in them which could be used. I am also seeking for any suggestions people may have on how to make this assembly easily removable and installed back.

The concept image that you have posted could not hold any common bearing that I know of. You may want to consider a different design for the shaft.
