How to eliminate self-intersecting axis shaft error in CATIA V5
Most of the time whenever I work in catia the feature definition error occurs in SHAFT command.
Please help me in this.
P.S. I am an amateur, need expertise.

When sketching the profile of the Shaft;
1. Only sketch half the profile (one side of the shaft is all that is needed)
2. Include the center line of the shaft, and define it as the Axis
3. The profile should never pass through the Axis
