how to get material selection or mode view in catia

my image shows white screen when i feed in catia while doing sketch tracing and tell me to change the view in material mode

In the sketch tracer you have to change the view mode to "Shading with Material" in order to see the image you inserted.

Go to "View"->"Render Style"->"Shading with Material"
