i think in the assembly you can garb parts from library like bolts ,constraint are needed in any assembly to determine the link between parts and how they interact between itch other in case you animate the assembly
or you can choose the link between the to parts as (Built demontable link,in FR liaison encastré demontable) that was translated on google cause i study it in french ,i hope this answer your Q if not can you provide more info wout what you want to do
