Hi!
What kind of mold?
Sand casting or metallic?

hello
this is send casting yet, but i want make a metallic mold too . hope you can help!!!!!!!!

To make a mold, you can create a parallelepiped round this part and then you can use "Combine" command: http://help.solidworks.com/2012/English/SolidWorks/sldworks/HIDD_DVE_FEAT_COMBINE_BODIES.htm

Then, you can divide it

I add it in "Centrotavola.SLDPRT" and create the 2 halves "Corpo1" and "Corpo2"

is this can help u?
i just using a substract,.

HELLO...DOES YOUR PROBLEM ALREADY SOLVED? IF YOU DON'T MIND I HAVE SOME TIPS ON HOW TO SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM...WHAT VERSION OF SOLIDWORKS YOU ARE USING?

I ALREADY ATTACHED HERE THE TIPS THAT YOU NEED AND HOPEFULLY THIS WILL HELP YOU MORE.

Divide it horizontally and add draft

I,tried that Autocad command "subtract" works better than mold design in Solids Works...

In solid works use cavity command in assembly,it is best suit for mold design
