how to read sketched plane,limit direction,and total surfaces from catia model using visual basic 6.0 codes

I am doing mtech cad project ----Automatic assembly of mechanical joint using visual basic 6.0 and catia ,i am struggling in how to find direction and sketched plane and total surfaces (eg:bolt component)
