Hi I can't open a STep file can someone help? This is the message: "the default templates are not valid. The problems can be resolved by correcting the default templates under the options dialog. Ps I'm new to solid works!

What version soildworks do you have.. and what version was the file you downloaded.. remember prts are not backward or forward compatable..you might try DXF.. or Step format.
