I have a step file that is not good
F1 step file with faults in it.
Is there some one that can make it nice!
With the software i have, i cant fix it. maybe some els can.
Its been made in partmodeler and some altering in spaceclaim
but the file is realy terrible!

I redid this model from scratch in Solidworks 2014 just for fun, in case someone has an interest:
(Had to add a steering wheel).

Had no issue opening it, but the model has some errors (modelling/converting errors probably).
Converted it to parasolid. Some softwares handle complex surfaces better in this format.

B has to look like A
The bottom of the cockpit is not all level(orange color). Can you also make
this one flat surface? Because my drawing skills are not that good to fix it :)

According to GrabCAD” You should not:

I had no problem opening the file in Inventor. I resaved it as a new STEP file. Maybe it will work for you.
