is it possible for me to autocad 3d model and import it to 3ds max.
after building 3d model Using AutoCAD software and importing it to 3DSMAX software.and give special effects and render it.

You can Import dwg file from autocad to 3dsmax
first, open 3ds max
then select import dwg
just make sure that the scale and units are as desired.

I changed from 3D max to using Navis works.
You hit export in Autocad and then open 3D max. Hit import. Make sure the versions are compatible.
