Is it possible to get 2D drawing with all dimensions and tolerances from 3D model in .stp file format in CATIA V5?(Note: The dimensions and tolerances are already given in the model by the designer. So I am not drafting, just want to generate in 2D)
I have .stp file of 3D model from which I need to generate 2D drawing with its dimensions and tolerances that is already applied in the model by the designer.
Is it possible in CATIA?
Or is there any other way to do so?

What you ask is not possible in CATIA or any CAD package. STEP files are exported from native 3d models and are used by 3d printers, as such, the .stp file no longer has any link to the original model it was exported from and is not suitable for generating 2d engineering drawings.
To create a 2d file that contains dimensions and tolerances defined in a particular 3d model, one must use the particular 3d model and most likely the CAD package that generated it.
