How extract core and cavity from any file

Im import extension (.parasolid ) in Sold works....
1. Which type files can import for mold tool?
2. I have design model in unigrapich
But extract (from model CORE AND CAVITY) in solid works .... Extension are same... But not possible apply tool split?

Any of the supported file import types should be able to import into solidworks for mold creation. IGES and STEP are two of the most common, along with the parasolid type you mentioned.

This does not necessarily mean that any imported part will always be able to split into core and cavity, but if its properly designed for molding, and all the required solidworks molding features (parting line, shutoff surfaces, etc) are properly defined, it should work.
