Question about fastening feature
I was using solidworks 2014 .... fastening feature is not thr in insert menu y

Are you in a part model or an assembly?
If in a part model, you should have access to the fastening features.
Maybe you could post a screenshot of what you are working with?
The "fastening features" are not magic. You'd be able to create any of them manually without a special tool.
Just download only toolbox of solid works 2014 from any website and copy then paste in your C drive Program Files.
After this process restart your computer . Start your solid works assembly just open your library from right side features .click on add in now .
I hope you will be able to use of library.
