Slicing question from a newbie.
Ok folks bear with me. I'm totally new to CAD and have been learning to use Rhino 3D to use in my custom auto body design. I'd like to learn the techniques for slicing a design and making 2D patterns to produce ribs and splines to cut on my CNC. I've included this video link from Inspire Automotive https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_UY4teeUNtw as an example. So far I'm not having much luck. Can someone point me in the right direction of a tutorial for beginners that would cover this technique? Is Rhino the best program for this or is there another that would make it simpler to use for a beginner?
