Solidworks Files won't open, spent ages on it.

I had spent about 6 hours making this and was quite proud of it...
I was working on this car a bit every day. Saved onto external HDD. Worked fine every day. PLugged in HDD today and tried to open but encountered this error message

Any help would be greatly appreciated! File is also attached

The file is likely corrupted for some unknown reason.
Outside of sending it in to tech support for possible repair, the best option is opening a backup file.
Go to Tools - Options - System Options - Backup/recovery

Hopefully you've already enabled the backup feature to keep at least two copies of each document. See what folder they are saved to, and take a look in there.
