What do you think about changing GrabCAD score policy? I think it should be changed so the downloads will be valued with 5 points instead like.

I think we should get points for both. LOL
Like 5 for a download, and 2 for a like.
GC points are like wetting your pants in a dark suit. It gives you a warm feeling but nobody notices.

I don't believe its totally "pointless" or GC would not have included the specific feature to "Sort by most liked" and Sort by "Most Downloaded". I happen to enjoy seeing what is the most popular 3D model of late. I often like it so much I download it, "Like it" and give kudos to the blood sweat and tears that went into its creation, and then I may produce a nice rendering with it just because it inspired me on some level. Otherwise I may not have even known that model was posted. There's a lot more to GC than simply answering questions in the forums and helping kids do their homework.
