What is the best way to upload a model to GrabCad?
When I upload a 3D model to my models in GrabCad it only appears in 2D and only fractional sections.

Hi John,
From what I could see in your library, you only have two models in which you uploaded empty "zip" folders:
42-x-20-1500-hot-tap-1.snapshot.4.zip
subsea-10in-rov-ball-valve-1.snapshot.2.zip
You must upload CAD files and images for the models to appear normally.

Only files uploaded in their native format, uncompressed, will render and display. They can be in a sub folder. Some native file formats may still not display correctly. The very latest version Solidworks files won’t display. Inventor files won’t display.
From what I see you have created 2 sub folders but have uploaded no files.
My best suggestion is upload a STEP file and some JPG renders. That’s the only way to guarantee success.
Thank you all for feedback. Was trying to upload Inventor files, will change tack to dwg files.
