Geometry pattern reduces regeneration time.

In Normal pattern, if you pattern a feature, the parent feature will also be included in pattern ( mean, you cant use the feature again, for any other tools). And, when you use geometry pattern, the parent feature will not be included in pattern, so that you can use the feature for another tool.

In Geometry pattern, three modes are available - General, Identical, Variable. The generation speed is higher in Identical mode, lesser in Variable and least in General.
Try patterning 2000 or more of a feature and notice the time difference in these three modes.

by using geometrical pattern we can create pattern of more then object at a time
