it is in catia also,bro.
u will find it in "surface based features" that is available in part design module.

some times you need to get help from surface design while you are in part design. you are modeling part but you have hard surface to create in part design. you changed module part to surface and created your surface in surface design. and you want to add surface to part. in here sew surface command helps to you add surface to part as a solid.
