  3. Step 3: REMOVE 3D PRINT SUPPORTS

    Remove 3D print supports from all parts.

     CAUTION: DO NOT REMOVE

    • XT60 CONNECTER RETAINING LIP - YELLOW
    • XT60 CONNECTER LOCK TABS - RED


     CAUTION: DO NOT DAMAGE - 2X #4 COUNTERSINK 7/8 ROUND HOLES


    NOTE: HOLE IN FRAME IS PIEZO BUZZER CRADLE

    REMOVE SUPPORT FROM CRADLE POCKET

    










  4. Step 4: 3D PRINT POST FABRICATION

    FRAME:

    USING 0.0625” (1/16”) DRILL - DRILL 4X PILOT HOLES IN “PDB” MOUNTING TABS


    USING #43 (0.089”) DRILL - DRILL 14X FRAME MOUNTING HOLES THRU ALL


    USING 4-40 TAP - TAP 4X “PDB” MOUNTING TABS

    DO NOT TAP THRU ALL, ONLY TAB THICKNESS


    USING 4-40 TAP - TAP 14X FRAME MOUNTING HOLES

    DO NOT RE-TAP THRU “PDB” MOUNTING TABS


    USING 0.375” (⅜”) DRILL DEBURR ANTENNA PORT

    DO NOT DRILL THRU VIDEO TX PORT


    FORWARD HOOD:

    USING 0.125” (⅛”) DRILL - CHASE 2X #4 COUNTER SINK CLEARANCE HOLES


    CAMERA MOUNT:

    DRILL #43 (0.089”) & TAP 2X 4-40 FRAME MOUNTING HOLES

    USING #43 (0.089) DRILL - CHASE CAMERA SCREW HOLES


    COMPONENTE HOOD:

    USING 0.125” (⅛”) DRILL - CHASE 4X #4 COUNTER SINK CLEARANCE HOLES

    DRILL #43 (0.089”) & TAP 4-40 SCREW HOLE

    USING END NIPPERS - CUT REMOVE STRAP BUCKLE TOP LEAVING “END RETAINING” NUBS


    INSTALL COMPONENT STANDS - SLIDE COMPONENT STAND TABS INTO FRAME SLOTS


    FASTEN CAMERA MOUNTS TO FRAME USING 2X Countersink 4-40 Screws cut to ⅜”


    FASTEN FORWARD HOOD TO FRAME USING 2X Countersink 4-40 Screws 1" Long


    FASTEN COMPONETE HOOD TO FRAME USING 4X Countersink 4-40 Screws 1" Long


     “USING FLUSH CUTTERS, TRIM SCREWS FLUSH TO FRAME”


    FASTEN ACCESS COVER TO COMPONENTE HOOD USING Countersink 4-40 Screw cut 3/16”


    INSTALL BATTERY STRAP:

    VELCRO SIDE OUT, SET RETAINING BAR IN FRAME POCKET 

    FEED STRAP THRU NEAR SIDE LANDING BASE SLOT

    FEED STRAP THRU FAR SIDE OF LANDING BASE SLOT

    FEED STRAP THRU INSIDE FRAME SLOT

    FEED STRAP THRU OUTSIDE FRAME SLOT

    SLIDE FRAME STAND IN BETWEEN FRAME AND LANDING BASE

    CINCH BATTERY STRAP DOWN

    SNAP HEADLAMP COVER INTO PLACE
