  1. Step 1: Download ies light vray sketchup

    To display the light, the IES Light tool requires a special file which is input into the parameters. This file will then form the spotlight style automatically. Users simply select the style of lamp they want to use and then adjust the intensity.

    As Vray has grown, there are currently tons of ies files that you can use. But unfortunately not all ies files are compatible, sometimes there are files that can only be installed in certain Vray versions for example version 3.6.
