  1. Step 1: Introduction to Project

The ultimate purpose of this tutorial is to arrive at a simple assembly as shown below:

  2. Step 2: Part 1

First we model the the part called the wheel handle. To do this we utilise the following dimensions.

A complete demonstration of this can be seen in the video placed below... It is a rather complex procedure followed, but we arrive at the desired result.

  3. Step 3: Part 2

As simple as this part seems, it is the most difficult to understand at face value. You would need to completely understand how it fits in the assembly to figure out that some details were left out by the dimensions author. However, there is video demonstration provided below.

    The dimensions are here:

And video demonstration is also provided for assistance,

  4. Step 4: Part 3

An absolute gem of a part, easy to construct. Video demonstration also placed below. Enjoy!

Here to see how I did mine.

  5. Step 5: Part 4

In part 4, we created an easy part called circle. Well, eventually we would modify this part in the assembly process. No hurries, just enjoy the process.

To ensure we are on the same page... Video demonstration shown below.

  6. Step 6: Part 5

Part 5 consists of easy parametric methods, so take a go at it. Remember, an explainer video is placed after the dimensions.

    Video demonstration here:

  7. Step 7: Part 6

Aiit, we are half way through the parts design, and here we have another really easy part. Remember, a video demonstration is below in case of needed help.

    Video demonstration here:

  8. Step 8: Part 7

Lol, with this part, you can complete it in your sleep.

Here is a video demonstration, showing how to create this part in a single move (Come and chill with the big boys, lol!)

  9. Step 9: Part 8

Aiit, back to being serious... The rivet! It is an easy part to model as seen in the drawing, however, I used this opportunity to show how to access the library standard parts and obtain dimensions also. You really should check out the video for that.

    Here is the video demonstration:

  10. Step 10: Part 9

Now the nail, is easy... and it is thankfully the last of the parts.

    The video demonstration:

  11. Step 11: Assembly 1

Yess!!! The big boys have arrived! Well, slow down... we start slow here, with a simple assembly.

    First assembly design:

  12. Step 12: Assembly 2

Aiit, we proceed here into the next assembly process.

I hope you enjoy it with me.

  13. Step 13: Assembly 3

Yup! In this new video we proceed to add the arcs and place some as-built connections.

  14. Step 14: Assembly 4

So here it is, the fourth video for our assemblies.

  15. Step 15: Final Assembly 5

Congratulations people! You have reached the final video. I hope you enjoyed the process so far. Please tell me you had fun also. Lol.
