How to Create A Red Phone Body
Basic knowledge on how to use a sketch plane, how to extrude, how to create a simple hole, how to create a rectangle, how to do fillet, how to change appearance, how to use a circular pattern instead of creating the same geometry for multiple times.

Step 1: Sketch Plane
- Create a new part in SolidWorks.
- Right-click Right Plane from the FeatureManager design tree. this will be a Sketch Plane.
- Click sketch from the toolbar.
- Select line and create a shape like in the figure below.
- The dimension is up to you.

Step 2: Extrude
Extrude it to 165mm. You may change it according to your desire.

Step 3: Simple Hole
1. Select Simple hole with D=40.0 mm
Do the same to another side.

Step 4: Rectangle
Create a rectangle with a given dimension and mirror it.
Extrude both to D=35.0mm.

Step 5: Circle At The Rectangle
Same with step 3, create a circle with D=40.0mm at the centre of the rectangle.

Step 6: Fillet
To fillet this area, use Fillet and choose Face Fillet with R=7.0mm.
For body part, use Constant Size Fillet with R=10 and for that two rectangle use R=1.0mm.

Step 7: Dial Gage Circle
Create a big circle like in the figure below.
Then create another two circle inside of it and extrude each of it to D=3.0mm.

Step 8: Appearance
To change colour, select Edit Appearances and select a red colour.
To change colour only part of the object, select the part and identify it “name”, right-click > appearances > “name”. Choose a grey colour.

Step 9: Circular Pattern
Create a circle and multiple it using Circular Pattern
Extrude Cut all the circle.

Step 10: Final Product
The final product will look like this.
