how to create bom in pro-e 5.0

Creating bom in pro e 5 is easy. Manual creation of bom is shown is the tutorial.

1. Step 1:

   Create any assembly and create drawing of it . Place views and go to " table" as shown in the picture , and create a new table
   

   

2. Step 2:

   you need to click 4 point on the screen shown in the picture, you have created points of the end points of the colums of BOM. After placing those points you need to click "done". In next step you will be creating rows
   

   

3. Step 3:

   Now you need to place 2 point, and click "done" . You have created a table with 3 colums and 2 rows.

   Double click each cell and enter the titles

   first row is for titles- "INDEX", "NAME" and "QTY", 2nd row is for creating BOM
   

   

4. Step 4:

   STEP-1 Click on any field of second row of the table.
   STEP-2 Go to Table>select>row, the second row will be highlighted.
   STEP-3 Right click in second row and click Add repeat region.
   STEP-4 Go to Table>Repeat region>attributes, click No Duplicates and then Done/return and Done.
   

   

5. Step 5:

   step 1- Double click in the first field of the second row, Report symbol window will open.
   step 2- Click on rpt… and then index, rpt.index will appear in the field.
   Double click in the second field of the second row and click asm… then mbr… and then name; asm.mbr.name will appear in the field.
   step 3- Similarly select rpt.qty for the last field of second row.
   

   

6. Step 6:

   The cell will now look like this
   

   

7. Step 7:

   Go to Table>update tables as shown in the image. Your BOM table is ready now.
