How to draw a star in any CAD software?

This tutorial will show you how to draw a star in AutoCAD,SOLIDWORKS etc...

1. Step 1:

   

   Just draw what I did and make sure the smaller circle size is half of the radius of the first bigger circle as you can see on the picture.

   
   

   
   

2. Step 2:

   

   Now make two circles (center in red circle) and make sure they are tangent to the smaller circle.

   
   

3. Step 3:

   

   Just follow the pictures now,I will draw lines one by one.

   
   

4. Step 4:

   

   
   

   
   

5. Step 5:

   

   
   

   
   

6. Step 6:

   

   
   

   
   

7. Step 7:

   

   This is it,now trim all the circles and lines inside a star.

   
   

8. Step 8:

   

   This is the star we want.

   This is the way I draw a star but there are probably other ways which could be maybe easier than this but,but anyways you should get a star like this one.
