How to find problems in your sketch in SOLIDWORKS?

Step 1:
You probably had a problem when your feature just wont work because of some gaps and lines shared by multiple point and you get an error like that.
Sometimes you have complicated sketches so it is pretty hard to manually look for problems.
Here on the picture I tried to do split with this sketch on the surface and I have got an error because something is wrong.

Step 2:
A tool called Check sketch for feature may help you to find the problems,you can see on the picture where you can find it or just type check sketch on the command bar.

Step 3:
So here select your feature,the one you want to use with this sketch,mine is split feature.click Check.

Step 4:
You will get a message which is gonna tell you again what is the problem,just click OK.

Step 5:
And you can see where was my problem,I have a little line there.
So the part where you have a problem like this or a gap between lines will highlight like the bigger line which has its point shared with the little line and the other big one.
And now is up to you to fix your problem :)
