Human Builder using CATIA V5R20

This tutorial is about how we can model a human which is useful for ergonomic analysis i.e. to know whether a product can be easily handled or not.

1. Step 1:

   Open Ergonomic design and analysis -> Human Builder to start.
   

   

2. Step 2:

   To begin, click Product1 (shown in the specification tree) -> manikin.
   

   

3. Step 3:

   Now a window will open. Provide necessary details as per your requirement.
   

   

4. Step 4:

   Click OK to insert manikin.
   

   

5. Step 5:

   Now to edit the posture of manikin select manikin and click on Posture Editor
   

   

6. Step 6:

   In Posture Editor, select the segment or part of body to edit.
   

   

7. Step 7:

   Set the parameters as per requirement.
