Need help to simutate chain and gear?

It is not a real tutorial (because if you are a student you should train your skills ;-)

1. Step 1:

   1. matingpart must be fixed

   2. Subassemblies will help

   3. make the three joints and you can simulate. move the part around the chain
   

   

4. Step 4:

   5. the revolute fixes to asm-1, point curve fixes to mating part

   some stupid work ...
   

   

7. Step 7:

   7. I am not realy shure about the gear, what happens when a chain part "leaves the gear"?
