SolidWorks 2020: Enable RealView Graphics for Intel OnBoard Graphic Cards

If the "RealHack" does not work for you try this.

  1. Step 1:

    Search tool > Regedit

  2. Step 2:

    Regedit > HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > SolidWorks

  3. Step 3:

    SolidWorks > Solidworks 2020 > Performance > Graphics > Hardware > Current

  4. Step 4:

    Copy your graphics card name and the key under "Workarounds" e. g. “Intel(R) HD Graphics 520” and "4000080"

  5. Step 5:

     Hardware > G12Shaders > Other

  6. Step 6:

    Presuming your graphics card isn’t any of the ones listed;


    Right-click “other” > New > Key

  7. Step 7:

    Rename “New Key #1” as your exact graphics card name as copied, e.g. “Intel(R) HD Graphics 520”

  8. Step 8:

    Right-click the new folder you just made > New > DWORD (32-bit) Value

  9. Step 9:

    Rename “New Value #1” as “Workarounds”

  10. Step 10:

    Right-click “Workarounds” > Modify… > and put your key e.g. "4000080" as the Value data (with the base in Hexadecimal) > OK

  11. Step 11:

    Start Solidworks > Enable Realview Graphics
