I Designed an SLM 3D Printer using Solidworks, I have the Powder storage room and Work room where melting of powder happens along with the vertical motion of their base to add more powder to the work room and the recoater blade on the table that recoates powder from the first room to the work room ( because we need to add powder layer by layer with a minimal thickness) CO2 laser with its mirrors and laser head along with its 2D gantry.
Now I want to Simulate and animate the process of 3D printing in Solidworks or any other software ;i.e. the laser beam hitting the mirrors to the laser head and hitting the powder bed, then laser stops and the recoater adds a new layer and so on.
