March 2011 - present
Integral part of the product development for six major categories within the hearth, patio, and barbecue industries.
As the lead designer of mass produced products, I have to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. I work directly with project managers and engineers to ensure the designs I conceptualize become final products.
From sketching to building full CAD models in SolidWorks, I would develop product drawings for engineers and also photo-realistic renderings, using BunkSpeed Pro, for our sales team to present to buyers. Additionally, I was heavily involved in the redesign of the company’s website layout which went live in October 2012.

January 2010 - November 2010
As a Custom Solutions Associate, I worked with sales teams to determine proper components needed for custom fluid assemblies. My responsibilities involved preparing 3D CAD models and drawings to meet the customer’s needs for various custom projects.
My position allowed me to utilize certifications to physically assemble the customer approved 3D drawings into the actual custom fluid systems. Thus, giving me a better understanding of how a CAD assembly transitions into a physical assembly.

September 2008 - January 2010
Large scale projects forced me to learn quickly and expand my design skills beyond products, to graphic and interior space design. My position allowed me to work directly with customers on the refurbishment design of their private jet interiors and exterior paint schemes.
My responsibilities involved selecting, then sourcing specific materials for various interior components, and ordering these materials. Moreover, by working with engineers, I aided in creating 3D CAD drawings and renderings of interior components and exterior paint schemes. I also provided the customer detailed technical drawings of their interior floor plan configuration, cabinetry design and also seating design.
The range and diverse scope of projects forced me to be more versatile as a designer.
