+Developed a novel idea for an automated weighing system used in group housed mice experiment. Designed mechanical parts with Autodesk Inventor and assembled electronic parts. Performed data analysis with Matlab. Published the results in the Neuroscience Methods Journal.
+Developed an automatic movement-tracking system using a grid of radio-frequency identification units (RFIDs). The device is used to study mice movement over a long period of time. Designed the PCB with Eagle and mechanical parts with Autodesk Inventor. Programmed micro-controllers with Python and Arduino.
+Designed electronic and mechanical parts of automated head fixing project with Eagle and Autodesk Inventor, respectively. Resulted in a more efficient and robust system compared to the existing methods.
+Analyzed spontaneous cortical activity in mice to infer brain network connectivity using Matlab.

September 2013 - June 2015
+Analyzed the effect of uncertainties in differential equations using global sensitivity analysis techniques such as Sobol's method
+Led a lab of 45 students for AutoCAD course, lectured on important features and tools of AutoCAD.
Led a lab of 30 students for Fluid Dynamics course, lectured on important concepts and tools of Fluid Dynamics experiments.
+Guided students on homework and lab assignments and provided feedback on how to improve programming techniques.

+Developed and designed a system to study the frost formation around a horizontal cold cylinder exposed to humid air flow. This research was conducted on evaporators typically found in domestic/industrial freezers. Implemented uncertainty quantification methods for heat transfer equations originated from a laser heat source. Studied the effect of parameter uncertainty propagation on temperature profile.
+Developed a FORTRAN code to study transitional heat transfer and fluid dynamics in a toroidal pipe using Finite Difference Methods (FDM).
+Assisted 25 students on Fluid Dynamics course. Solved exercise problems, lectured on important concepts of Fluid Dynamics, designed and graded assignments and exams.
+Designed piping, ducts, and other HVAC drawings using AutoCAD
+Calculated pressure drop and head loss through pipe and ventilation systems
+Consulted on equipment and material cost and other engineering aspects for successful project execution.
