can anyone help me make a 3d solidworks file into a 2d
I got a file here from the site, its a 3d file of a vespa drawing. when i try to cut it with my omax machine the drawing is tilted, i cannot get it flat with autocad. can anyone help me with that ?

Unfortunately the DXF file you found and provided here is not a 3d file, it is 2d. And it was generated 'tilted' so there is no simple way to correct it, it is what it is. It looks to me like the curves were being viewed in an isometric view and projected to a plane parallel to the screen.
Try contacting the creator of that file and explain to them the issue, maybe they will re-output the dxf .
Short of that, I did my best to 'square' it up by eye and re output it. It's still rotated but it's closer to what you're looking for, I think.
I'm sure 'the pros' can fix it better than I did.
