Grabcad causes a delay in Excel?

If I have Grabcad open (doesn't matter if a project is open or not) and I try to open an excel file, there is a 10 second delay before Excel starts opening.

If I open Excel directly from the Windows Start menu it opens fine.

If I try to open an Excel file and Excel is already open, it opens fine.

So if this 3 parameters apply, Excel opens delayed
-GrabCad is open
-Excel is closed
-I try to open an Excel file (double clicking directly in the file)

I have tried it in multiple computer and it is the same behavior and it doesn't matter if the file is local or on the network.

Is this happening to anyone else?
