how can i install nx7.5 software in windows xp

I made this guide when I was installing NX 6, but you can use it for NX 7.5 it's all the same. Good luck and if you need any help let me know.

First you will need the Licence file that was emailed to you when purchasing your package. each licence is version specific and if you using a maintenance package you will need a new licence file when updating, you then need register your composite id with siemens by using the ugs_composite.exe software to generate unique id, your composite id ties your licence file with your package to suit your version so that you can just install. you then require a webkey that is available from the GTAC website, a licence file is required tho. You need two things to get a WebKey, your Sold-to-ID and your WebKey Access Code which you will find in the header of licence file, You then need to request a webkey from the support webpage, Create an account then click on SIEMENS PLM STANDARD WEBKEY CREATION, enter your sold to id and webkey access code and submit, you will be emailed an activation link, click the link and you will have your webkey. You then register your host id (CID) , just follow the steps to suit your setup configuration, Click on register composite host id , a licence mangement page will appear, enter your cid and composite host id and the computer name running flex and submit, then insert your dvd for nx 7.5 and double click on Launch.exe , a window will appear, if flex is already installed just install nx. if not first install the licence server, then enter server name or select licence file, after that install the documentation, then install nx bundle if not yet installed and it shound be working. this is the procedure for AUTHENTIC SOFTWARE ONLY, make sure that port 28000 is open and not blocked in your firewall. good luck.
