How can I upload correctly the models made from Inventor to Grabcad?

How can I upload correctly the models made from Inventor to Grabcad, should I upload the folder or just the assembly file? I tried both ways but I could not get the Grabcad page to show the model, it just kept loading the model but did not show anything.

GrabCad may not ever render and show Inventor models or assemblies. You must do one or both of the following: 1. Create and upload a rendered image of the files. 2. Create and upload STEP files. It is a good idea to do both. Rendered images will show immediately without a wait. STEP files are desirable for users that do not have Inventor.

If you are uploading an Inventor assembly (IAM) you MUST also upload ALL the associated part (IPT) files. An IAM without the associated IPT files is useless. A good way to create a set of all required files is with the pack-and-go command set. All these files may be in a sub folder if desired. Since GrabCAD may never render these files, all IAM and IPT files should be removed from the gallery view.

GrabCAD may render older versions of Inventor files. However it may take hours or even days for them to appear. It is always best to provide your own renderings.
