How to create impression or carving as shown in given image i' m stuck on models outer impression

Help me to create that outer impression on models i done solid modelling part but not that outer impression or carving like that

Heres one i made using this method shown in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3V63MWRV6g It is not PTC Creo but i'm sure the method is similar. The other one is just a added texture.
