How to fix ERROR : Failed to trim weld member or apply a gap because of geometric conditions.
Hi,
I trying to make a structure using weldment, SOLIDWORKS. but at the some joint points profiles collide and solidworks says (Failed to trim weld member or apply a gap because of geometric conditions.)!
I using 2015 X64 edition.

I think there is 2 solutions for you:
- First, you could construct the frame by Structural Member command and then trim the joint by trim/extend command
- Second, change the sketch on each group on Structural Member command (see attach file)

What command do you use? I think It's still fine with your structure. When I use the Trim/Extend command, It's good to trim the welded frame and add the weld GAP
