Hell Dylan,

There are a number of different ways to do this, but one common method is to use the SolidWorks to Revit translator.

There are also some payed software solutions that can make this process easier, but I usually prefer to limit the amount of third party software required within a workflow.

Depending on the complexity of your model you can go for the following:

Export the Solidworks file to IFC and then Open IFC File in Revit and save as .RVT.
To further save as .RFA file:
In the newly saved .RVT file, Export to DWG (in your DWG/DXF Export Setup settings, be sure to go to the "Solids" tab and select "ACIS Solids".
Create a new Revit family with a "Generic Model" template.
Import CAD File and Save the family.
Export the Solidworks file to a STEP file and then import it into AutoCAD. Export the file from AutoCAD as 3D DWG and then Import CAD File into Revit.

Best regards,
3D comparison!
