it's happen to me too..than i reinstall the software and it's running properly.
You can try to disable the Online Options under System Options. A good place to start is: "Show latest news feeds in task pane"
Another is under System Options - Search: "Include 3D ContentCentral results. I turn off the entire search box.
A search online shows that other people get Java Script errors that are related to 3D Content Central: https://forum.solidworks.com/thread/34455
There is no answer posted, but another option could be to block SolidWorks from accessing the internet through your firewall settings.
I'm pretty sure this is an "online" related problem. Can you post a larger version of the error message? It is tough to make out exactly what it says.
